Are Omega 3 supplements recommended the 1st trimester of pregnancy?

I know that pure DHA/EPA supplements are recommended the last 4 months of pregnancy but what about the 1st trimester? I am taking pure Omega 3 supplements (Pregnancy Plus brand) and TTC – Just wondering if I should just wait until the 2nd trimester if I get pregnant?

I would say if you are trying to get pregnant then start a healthy diet and take just prenatials to get your body in optimal condidtion for the little one, you should probably just stick to prenatal vitamins because they have everything you need in them.
